Benefits of Sleeping on an Electric Adjustable Bed
For back, Neck & Shoulder Pain When you sleep on adjustable beds you will be able to do so in a position that more closely matches the contours of your body and this in turn will mean that you are able to keep your back flatter against the ground. This can help to prevent conditions such as sciatica – a condition where the sciatic nerve gets trapped near the base of the spine (this nerve controls the majority of signals heading between the brain and the limbs and is very painful when put under pressure). By supporting the base of the spine it is possible to keep the spine aligned and help to prevent trapped nerves and release those that are currently lodged. You may also find that while suffering from sciatica this can greatly help the associated pain. For Breathing & Asthma Lying on a bed completely flat can accentuate breathing difficulties. By raising your upper body you can greatly assist your breathing. For Digestion & Heart Burn Being slightly upright is also highly beneficial for your digestion as it helps your body to process food during the night. It is not advisable to go to sleep on too full a stomach at any point, but if you have eaten within the last few hours then addressing your position can be helpful and by using adjustable beds you can position yourself at the recommended 6 inches and this will help to encourage healthy digestion.

Choosing a Mattress
There are three main types of mattresses: corespring mattress, memory foam mattress, and airmattresses. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Core spring mattresses tend to be less expensive and with a nice pillow top are quite comfortable. These can be combined with a good but less expensive foundation (box springs)to lessen the cost. They are easy to move/rotate toextend the life of the mattress. However, the industry has no standard for the [firmness" of themattress, so comparison shopping nearly impossible. The most common complaint is sagging (regardless of one`s weight). Memory foam mattresses conform to your body which may cause less pressure points on your body. They usually do not develop sagging and there is limited motion transfer. However, they are expensive, tend to trap heat ([sleeps hot"), and some find it is hard to change positions. Air mattresses are very adjustable in terms of the firmness desired, they are light weight and there is limited motion transfer. Common complaints are the noise the motor makes to change the levels offirmness and some complain of uneven sleep surface firmness. There has been some questionof quality and durability. So Which One is the Best? The medical consensus at this time is to look for a[mattress of medium firmness." Patients report good satisfactions with all types. The best way to find out which is best for you is to try them out.Spend at least 20-30 minutes in each bed. The store owners expect this, so don`t be afraid to try it out. It is worth taking the time. A good mattress will last for 7 to 10 years.

To improve sleep quality, you can actually sleep well
Poor sleep can not only lead to troublesome dark circles, but also threaten people's health. Light people are apathetic, tired and weak, and those with severe memory loss, neurasthenia, dizziness, and even affect people's heart and lung function. . Medical facts also tell people that the importance of sleep is second only to breathing and heartbeat. Improving sleep quality is the voice of all those who suffer from insomnia. The bedroom environment, from temperature to light, has a great influence on the quality of sleep. Choosing the right bedding should be made of perspiration, breathable material bedding, such as cotton, wool, silk, bamboo fiber and linen. Polyester, synthetic satin and other materials cannot discharge moisture, and they sleep more and get hotter. Bedding materials should feel smooth and comfortable. If you are allergic to dust or mold, use allergen-resistant mattresses and pillowcases and clean them often. Keeping the bedroom tidy The messy bedroom can make it difficult to relax and cause distractions while you sleep. Take a little time each day to tidy up the room and make sure that the items in your home are [in place" and that it will be easier to fall asleep. Ensure the comfort of the mattress The American Sleep Association states that mattresses will be replaced after 5 to 7 years of use. The latest issue of the Consumer Report stated that the mattress should be replaced when it feels "uncomfortable to sleep." Some studies have pointed out that replacing old mattresses can improve people's stress points and relieve back pain. Timely Change of Pillows Pillows are also important for sleeping comfort and should be replaced more frequently than mattresses. Imitation down pillows and polyester-filled pillows should be replaced after 1 to 2 years of use. Memory foams, latex, down, buckwheat hulls and other pillows can be properly used if properly used. Pillows that are too low, too high, or do not provide comfortable support can cause neck pain and back pain. Therefore, if the mattress is used well and the neck feels sore after waking up, the pillow is probably the "culprit."

Are You Getting Enough Sleep?
We spend about one-third of our lives asleep. This may sound like a lot of time, but it is not wasted. Our bodies need sleep to stay healthy. Not getting enough sleep, or as we sometimes say shut-eye, can make us sick. Are you getting enough beauty sleep? A new study from the University of Washington in the U.S. seems to confirm this. Dr. Nathaniel Watson was the lead writer of the study. He is also co-director of the university's Medicine Sleep Center at Harborview Medical Center. Watson says his study shows that the immune system works best when the body gets enough sleep.Watson's study provides more evidence that sleep is important to "overall health and well-being." And sleep is especially important to immune health. The website Health.com lists several signs that may mean you are not getting enough sleep. You're always hungry or you've gained weight. A lack of sleep can affect the hormones that tell your brain you have eaten enough. You have trouble making decisions. A lack of sleep may affect your higher level brain functions, such as problem solving. You have trouble remembering things. Sleep helps prepare the brain for new memories. You feel very emotional. People who are sleep deprived may feel unable to control their emotions, whether they be angry, sad or happy. Your skin doesn't look good. When we sleep, the body repairs damaged cells, like skin cells. (We don't call it beauty sleep for nothing!) You are having trouble seeing. When you're tired you may not be able to control your eye muscles.

A Great Boss is hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget-Sialiy intelligent Mattress
I lost one of my managers a couple of years ago and I can`t seem to forget him or the legacy he left behind. He was one of my earliest examples of true leadership. I often refer to him as "The Memorable Leader." I had a family emergency and before I could finish explaining to him the situation. He said, "And you are still standing here talking to me? Why aren't you out the door yet? I'll cover for you." I smiled then went to my desk, took my belongings and left. Thereafter, he had my full commitment. Here are five qualities of memorable leaders: Integrity & Authenticity go hand in hand. Joseph was honest with employees even though this trait was sometimes unpopular with top management. He often took the slack for his team. If leadership is not authentic, then what is it? Humility. True leaders always aim to serve rather than be served. Being humble makes you more approachable to your followers and allows you to create an environment of open communication and more effective feedback. Empathy plays a critical role in one`s ability to be a successful leader. It sharpens your "people acumen" and allows leaders to develop and maintain relationships with those they lead. Leaders that possess this trait always make time for people. They possess high emotional intelligence (EI). Communication Skills - Great leaders are able to communicate their vision in such a way that motivates their team. They are great communicators; quick to listen and slow to speak. We never heard of upcoming changes via the grapevine. Joseph always kept us in the loop. Inspirational- Joseph didn't need a title to get us to complete tasks. He had our full support. Words such as "Good work team," "You are the best", [I trust your judgement" were at the top of his dictionary. Team spirit was high during his reign. If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." - John Quincy Adams Managers are forgotten but true leaders live on in the hearts and minds of followers. Sometimes I can still picture Joseph walking through the office, greeting staff on mornings, and might even give me a little nod or pat on the back. Those were the special moments I still hold dear. It doesn`t take much to create those special moments with your team. Good bosses are few and far in between, but if and when you get one, really appreciate them.

W is for weakness- Sialiy intelligent Furniture
We all have to recognise that we all have weaknesses. I know I do. But I`m never willing to let them defeat me, or get me down. I have always sought to turn my disadvantages into advantages. For example, my dyslexia taught me to think differently, and solve problems in a unique way. I became a really good delegator early in life, and learned to find and work with people whose strengths balance my weaknesses. By surrounding myself with fantastic people, who are brilliant in the areas where I struggle, we`ve managed to grow Virgin into the global group of businesses that it is today. So instead of covering up your weaknesses and trying to sweep them under the rug, acknowledge them and start thinking about ways that you can use them to really benefit you. What are you weaknesses? Cold call opener- Intelligent Furniture
Just received a cold call and the first opener is "How are you doing," I mention terrible. Then the second opener is "Did I catch you at a bad time," I tell the guy it's a terrible time. Third opener is "Should I call you back later," I say no. Cold caller apologizes and hangs up. Some key takeaways here: 1. Don't open your cold call with how are you doing ever 2. Don't ask your prospect if it's a good time. It's always a bad time for your prospect to receive a cold call so not sure why you even ask 3. Don't ask your prospect if you can call them back. They don't want you to prospect them 4. Most important takeaway - DELIVER VALUE IMMEDIATELY -> Find a way to deliver as much value in 15-30 - 45 - 60 seconds as fast as possible. If this cold caller would have opened up about helping Seamless acquire the 60k Salesforce clients, or highlight how he can help us close more enterprise clients or save more on our AWS bills etc. I would have immediately been interested in learning more........ Instead the cold caller decided to waste 30-45 seconds on whimsical non-sense and then hung up causing me to block the number. Great reminder for our team internally and for anyone externally to use effective cold call openers and always, always deliver value on every touch or be blocked.

Black Friday@Sialiy intelligent Mattress
Black Friday feels weird this year. So does Christmas. I've got a 2 year old phone that works nicely, a 5 year old laptop that is just fine, a 2 year old Sonos that's great. My 4 year old TV is big enough and I don't use much. I buy shoes that are expensive but last forever. Jeans and T-Shirts on a similar principle. I stream music and films, I don't buy CD's or DVDs. My car is 11 years old and great. I don't really need anything. I grew up in the age of consumerism, I wanted a TV, a cordless phone, a DVD player, Walkman, Discman, a Video player, I wanted a graphic equalizer on my Hi Fi, a CD player, a new games console, a camcorder, a nice camera. I really craved the latest trainers, a new shellsuit (!). Maybe I'm weird but I want a select few, really nicely made items, that I really care about and will last a long time. I wonder how typical this is. I feel like simple things with meaning and longevity are interesting to explore. Things you cherish or don't own.`

The sky is the limit
The sky is the limit. This year, Alibaba's 11.11 Shopping Festival took just a bit more than 13 hours to reach last year's record sales of US$ 18 billion on a single day. With now less than 5 hours to go, GMV is trending at around 40% higher than at the sale time last year? Will we see US$ 25 billion tonight?

Trump targets US-China corporate deals on Beijing visit
US President Donald Trump arrived in Beijing for his first official visit to China, with North Korea and billions of dollars in trade deals high on the agenda. Mr Trump and First Lady Melania will spend two days in China`s capital, hosted by China`s President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan, which senior Chinese officials are describing as a [state visit plus". Analysts said the summit would feature plenty of pomp, ceremony and corporate deals, but likely little substantive progress on trade and investment imbalances between the world`s two largest economies. Likewise few are expecting much progress on tackling the problem of North Korea. Mr Trump has signalled that this trip would be unlike previous US presidential visits to China, which usually include meetings with human rights representatives, much to the annoyance of Chinese hosts. Mr Trump`s schedule included no reference to any such meetings. Shen Dingli, a professor of American studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, said: [Such meetings are very unlikely to happen. Such a move would hinder [Trump`s] agenda to make American great again. This would annoy China, and it doesn`t look like Trump will do this." Share this graphic Instead Mr Trump congratulated Mr Xi on his re-anointment as paramount leader by the 19th Communist party Congress last month, tweeting before his flight to Beijing: [I very much look forward to meeting with President Xi who is just off his great political victory". The first item on the itinerary was a tour of Beijing`s Forbidden City, the former imperial residence in Beijing. Mr Trump and first Lady Melania are scheduled to attend a private dinner with Mr Xi and Ms Peng, with more substantive meetings between the two presidents scheduled for Thursday. The famously smoggy skies in Beijing were uncharacteristically clear for the occasion, while Beijing was under virtual lockdown - the Forbidden City had been shut to tourists since late on Tuesday to prepare for Mr Trump`s visit, many roads were closed, and Beijing was blanketed with a heavy police and military presence. China-US deals agreed during Trump visit JD.com, the Chinese ecommerce group, agreed to buy $1.2bn of US pork and beef over the next three years, one of the biggest deals signed during the state visit on Wednesday. The agreement includes buying at least $200m of beef over three years from the Montana Stockgrowers Association, a deal made possible after China lifted a ban on beef exports from the US in May, one of the few concessions granted to the Trump administration during its first 100-day period of talks with China. JD will also invest $100m to build the first beef-processing facilities in Montana to build up its supply chain there. Separately, Minnesota-based wastewater treatment company Viroment also signed $800m of deals to build plants with various partners in China. Aside from individual business deals, many of which were agreed separately to the state visit, no broader trade deal was announced. Wilbur Ross, the US commerce secretary, said that $9bn in new corporate deals had been signed on Wednesday between Chinese and US companies, with more to come on Thursday. The US trade delegation accompanying Mr Trump is dominated by manufacturing and industrial companies, such as Boeing and DowDuPont. [Addressing the imbalance in China trade has been the main focus of collaborative discussions between Presidents Trump and Xi. Achieving fair and reciprocal treatment for the companies is a shared objective," Mr Ross said. However, observers are sceptical that the contracts can make a dent in the US`s $347bn annual trade deficit in goods with China. [We are hoping the contracts do not overshadow the need for structural changes in the economic relationship," said Bill Zarit, a former US diplomat who now heads the American Chamber of Commerce in China. [There are ways for the Chinese to show they are addressing the deficit without addressing the structural issues."

Perspective always provides the best lens
I thought I was having a bad day on Thursday, until Friday morning, when I woke up at 3am and had to have an emergency appendectomy. Now that's a bad day. So here`s how it helped me put some stuff in perspective. The few things I was upset about on Thursday we`re not that big a deal, but when things don`t go your way, sometimes it can snowball and get in your head. So I like to do what I call my "7-Day Test". I just ask myself, is this something I`ll be mad about in 7 days? If the answer is No, then I let it go right then and there. Why be upset any longer than I need to be. If the answer is Yes, I keep going. Is it a month? A year? I base how upset I should feel based on how long it's going to take to me remedy, or move on from it. It makes no sense to be hung up on something for any extra amount of time. Life is too short, energy is too valuable, and it doesn't do you any good. So if you're mad about something today and realize you won't even remember it in 7 days, just let it go now. We all don`t need to get rushed to the ER to realize it. Oh, and I`m recovering just fine now. I even closed a quick $15k deal laying in my hospital bed waiting for the operating room, which of course, is made easier when customers love working with us :-)

Defeat is only permanent the moment you stop trying
There will be times in your business that you feel like there is no chance to achieve the goal you have set for yourself, and you will be right if you stop going for it. However if you dig deeper, work harder, create enthusiasm of what will be coming and never give up you will reach your goal. Defeat is only permanent the moment you stop trying. So spend each day doing all you can despite what reality might look like at the moment, because with effort and tenacity comes your success. [Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all." – Dale Carnegie

What money can buy
Richness attracts public but not true friends. According to most of the people if your passion doesn't pay you well, you are considered to be a fool running after that passion. If people are around you as you have money then watch out as their love for you is conditional, as they will leave you when you will not have it. If you have those friends who stand for you even when your pocket is empty, treasure them like diamonds as they are the most valuable relationship you have in your life. While I am writing this, I know some will say this is waste of time as by doing so I am not making any money, but there Will be a few who admire me to be reminded of the facts of true friendship. Keep some good friends in your life who care for you irrespective of your status.

The eight most important words
The eight most important words in the art of closing as taught to me by my mentor, J. Douglas Edwards, are these: Whenever you ask a closing question, shut up! The important words are shut up. Ask your closing question then – keep quiet! It sounds simple, doesn`t it? Believe me, it isn`t. The wait during that pause between the asking and answering can seem like an eternity.
